Job Overview:
Ark Mortgage is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team based out of Rockland County, NY. As a Backend Developer specializing in C# and .NET, you will play a pivotal role in the architecture, development, and scaling of our applications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment where your work will have a direct impact on our product and clients (both internally and externally).
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and optimize backend systems using C# and ASP.NET Core to enhance overall application performance.
- Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with the team, contributing to the identification of best practices and innovative solutions.
- Efficiently identify and resolve system bugs, prioritizing seamless functionality and user experience.
- Proactively seek opportunities to refine and advance software processes, enhancing business efficiency and product interaction.
- Ensure code integrity and maintainability by writing comprehensive automated tests.
- Support the team and other employees through extensive documentation and training.
- Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practice
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong command of C# and familiarity with ASP.NET Core and EF Core.
- Demonstrated experience in code reviews and improving team coding standards.
- A solid background in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful services.
- A keen learner, open to adapting and picking up new programming languages and frameworks as required.
- Hands-on experience with SignalR, Queues, and other advanced backend technologies.
- Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with a track record of effective collaboration.
- A strong understanding of secure coding practices and adherence to industry security standards.
