Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the Regional BC Digital Strategy to grow DPS (Digital Products and Services) business according to the Mid Range Plan 23-27 targets, in cooperation with DPS Global, SERV, and SYST Region.
  • Lead the subsidiary PSI located in Houston, a subsidiary of PROGNOST Systems GmbH, fully owned by Burckhardt Compression AG.
  • DPS Region Americas Top Line (Order Intake & Sales) and profit and loss responsibility for PSI legal entity.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the Americas DPS (including PSI teams), overseeing sales, machinery diagnostic, engineering & manufacturing, field service, QEOHS, and finance.
  • Integrate and work collaboratively with the Regional Americas BC team, with the Global function DPS and in general with the divisions SERV and SYST.
  • Utilize and monitor performance metrics to measure and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain a stable and high-performing team with a strong talent pipeline.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop, implement and communicate a regional DPS strategy aligned with Global and Regional Mid-Range Plans (MRP).
  • Establish, articulate, and achieve financial, strategic, and operational targets for the region.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize the financial performance of the company while providing accurate forecasting of results.
  • Report both to the management team of SERV Region Americas and to PROGNOST Systems GmbH.
  • Implement the best possible organizational structure, policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure the achievement of goals and targets.
  • Ensure the BC Values and Behaviors and code of conduct are practiced from the top down.
  • Promote and maintain a positive work environment, encouraging a culture with a growth mindset.
  • Oversee resource planning, recruitment, performance management, training, and professional development.
  • Continuously seek potential new market opportunities in the AoR for BC.
  • Promote business in the overall Americas region in cooperation with existing BC subsidiaries.
  • Support and implement global projects, processes, guidelines, and procedures as required.
  • Oversee sales activities and service operations across Americas.
  • Ensure a high-performing, cohesive sales strategy to grow revenue throughout Americas.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for efficient order execution.
  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth by establishing a team to develop new customers and geographic areas.
  • Lead development of service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee a reliable and efficient supply chain to meet production and service demands.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
  • Establish and maintain a zero Lost-Time Incidents goal annually.
  • Lead by example, reinforcing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Promote quality & safety initiatives within the organization.
  • Actively participate and encourage continuous improvement activities.
  • Additional duties as required.

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically Electronic or a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Business degree preferred, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in similar industries, markets, and roles.
  • Understanding of digital solutions (HW, SW) for machinery diagnostics, IoT/cloud solutions, and compressors machinery principles.
  • Understanding of P&L performance management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with international business practices and regulations.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business development is a valuable asset.

Language Knowledge:

  • English: fluent spoken and written.
  • Spanish – considered an advantage.
