Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and other team members to move matters toward resolution efficiently.
- Contemporaneously memorialize discussions and decisions, and record your time, in our electronic case management system.
- Draft a high-quality, timely work product (correspondence, estate planning documents with customized provisions, court petitions, strategy recommendations, settlement agreements, etc.).
- Prepare for and lead meetings with clients and their advisors.
- Represent clients at hearings and other legal proceedings.
- Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action.
- Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor/review their work.
Qualifications:
- Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years.
- 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position.
- Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high.
Compensation:
$140,000 - $180,000 yearly
