The Human Resources Coordinator administers policies relating to all aspects of Human Resources activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with new hire recruiting and onboarding
- Assists with exit procedures for separating employees
- Assists with I-9s
- Run background checks
- Complete employment verifications
- Complete Workday inbox tasks
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Assist with employee inquiries about benefits programs such as life, health, dental, disability insurances, 401(k), paid time off, leave of absences, and employee assistance.
- Assists with worker compensation reports/claims
- Assists with FMLA and leaves of absence
- Assists with investigations
- Participates in department staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary and to represent the department
- Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University
- Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
- Adheres to company attendance standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- Project management skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Creative and innovative writing ability, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline from four-year college or university, preferred
- Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience in Human Resources
- Experience in a company with 1000+ employees strongly preferred
- Experience in Workday is a plus
- N/A
- Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
