- Salary—Cardinal offers competitive wages with a yearly performance merit program. The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.

The following duties are considered essential to the job:
- Working closely with leaders to determine staffing needs to provide quality care for our residents.
- Ability to travel to and support multiple locations - this position specifically would lead HR functions at our Ohio locations (Columbus, Akron, and Canton areas).
- Develop recruiting strategies to ensure a pipeline of candidates for all positions.
- Conduct file audits to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Ensure that our employees are qualified to fulfill their roles.
- Ensure that employees embrace our culture of care, compassion, and dignity.
- Manage risk of employee relations concerns issues within assigned properties.
- Follow federal, state and local laws.
- Confidentially handle employee concerns and issues.
- Ensure that documentation is factual and accurate.
- Benefit administration.
- Assisting the HR functions at all facilities.
Education & Knowledge Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or business related field highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP (or a willingness to study for and obtain SHRM-CP) or PHR required.
Essential Job-Related Experience/Abilities:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally.
- Ability to complete and maintain documentation regarding a resident’s status.
- Ability to operate computer systems and phone systems.
- Ability to maintain confidential data.
- Ability to build relationships with all individuals.
Preferred Job-Related Experience/Abilities/Education:
- 2+ years of HR experience including recruiting, worker's compensation, workplace investigations, and compliance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- General knowledge of employment law including FMLA.
