Job Title: Shipper

Duration: 6 months to hire

Pay rate: $20-21/hour

Location: Elkridge, MD

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 to 3:30

Must Haves

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse setting
• 1+ year experience with picking, packing, shipping
• Demonstrated solid attendance, good communication and team player mentality
• Must be able to pass a background test and drug screen
• High School Diploma or GED

Plusses

• Fork lift certification (standing and sitting)
• High sense of urgency
• Customer service experience

A typical day in this position looks like:

• Pick/pack/ship product for outbound shipments via UPS and FedEx Parcel and LTL
• Check in, put away, and post receipts for replenishment inventory
• Assist customers for pickup orders
• Use a scan gun for most transactions
• Use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager for automated shipping
• Operate warehouse lift (work assist vehicle), forklift, and reach truck
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area

Skills and physical abilities you will need

• Hand-held scan gun experience preferred
• Ability to regularly lift 50-60 pound boxes
• Ability to be on your feet for most of the day
• Light computer skills
