Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Manager who will oversee the social media strategies for all Trend businesses. This person will create and execute content calendars, develop a comprehensive social media strategy, and build excitement for Trend internally and externally. You will be responsible for growing our digital communities and strengthening Trend's brand across platforms. Your ability to create a content strategy that engages our core audience of influencers, athletes, and brands will be critical to your success. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, understands the nuances of content creation, is a fan of the world of influence, and can harness that energy to build excitement around the Trend brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a creative and data-driven social media strategy for all Trend companies. Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and aesthetic across all platforms.
- Content Creation & Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels. Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
- Community Building: Engage and grow our online community by interacting with influencers, athletes, potential hires, and brand clients. Build excitement around Trend and foster strong relationships with our audience.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, etc.) across all platforms. Use data to refine strategies and report key insights to leadership.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various teams (Trend Social, Management, Athletes, and Elevate) to integrate social media campaigns into broader marketing initiatives. Ensure that everyone at Trend is excited and invested in our social media presence.
- Stay on Top of Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and content creation tools. Proactively implement new and innovative ideas.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Trend's ethos and values on all platforms, driving interest and engagement among influencers and potential employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within influencer marketing, talent management, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and tools, with experience in Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
- Exceptional content creation skills, including copywriting, graphic design, and basic video editing.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze metrics and pivot strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building communities and excitement internally and externally.
