A Lab Technician is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Apopka, FL area. This role ensures the protection of company trademarks by performing chemical and analytical testing of confidential ingredients, utilizing laboratory instruments and software, while demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and attention to detail.

responsibilities:
Ensure the protection of the company's trademarks by verifying the quality of confidential ingredients used in products globally.
Perform both basic and complex ingredient testing using chemical and analytical methodologies under supervision.
Follow quality guidelines to maintain high throughput in testing.
Operate laboratory instruments such as refractometers, titrators, and spectrophotometers.
Apply knowledge of HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) in testing, which is a plus.
Use common software applications like Excel, Word, and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) to support testing and reporting functions.
Skills:
Proficiency in using basic laboratory equipment, including refractometers, titrators, and spectrophotometers.
