This Utility Worker opportunity is part time and offers full benefits and a varied shift, schedule. Under the direct supervision of the nutritional services manager or supervisor, the nutritional services worker/Utility, performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Uses dish machine and dish chemicals appropriately.
- Washes specified items by hand, i.e., pots, pans, knives, etc.
- Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner and as needed.
- Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment and areas including carts, storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and floors.
- Treats patients and families with respect and dignity.
