Jira ITSM Admin/Engineer (100% Remote)
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading is seeking a Jira expert for a major client. This role will be a remote, contract-to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Build initial ITSM configuration, Customer ticketing, Automation for ticket responses and workflows
- Ability to utilize service modules that are included in Jira ITSM license and maximize investment in the tool
- Enhance and streamline Jira ticket management processes and Confluence pages to support internal development teams.
- Utilize design skills to define JIRA workflows and the related screen schemes for complex and high impact projects
- Support and configure JIRA plugins as required
- Customize functionalities within Jira, Confluence, ITSM, Bitbucket

- Previous experience setting up and configuring Jira for an organization
- Experience creating workflows and automating ticketing processes in Jira
- Experience using additional plug-ins or other features included in Jira
- Ability to work cross functionally with different teams and business units utilizing Jira
- Previous experience implementing ITSM standards and processes with Atlassian/Jira
- Any experience doing any kind of Jira migration (data center or cloud) is a plus
