As a Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts, you will plan, organize, direct, administer, and coordinate the activities of the Cooperative Contract, Strategic Accounts and Government Sales Teams in accordance with established policies, goals, and objectives. You will provide details to executive management regarding the activities of the Government Sales Team and Cooperative Contract Managers in support of KDA’s wholly owned subsidiaries' contribution to improved sales and profitability of KDA.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides leadership and management support to Cooperative Contract Managers, Government Account Managers, and group personnel by supporting efforts to achieve quotas as assigned, including but not limited to sales quota, Cooperative Contract growth in the subsidiaries, and maintaining and growing current KDA Strategic Account Sales along with increasing sales in the Federal Government Space.
  2. Expand the knowledge and production of subsidiaries sales by leveraging the use of multiple Cooperative Contracts.
  3. In collaboration with sales and product marketing, analyzes and makes recommendations regarding Kyocera’s products and market focus in the Federal, State, and Local Government.
  4. Analysis of the current Strategic Account Portfolio to leverage Fleet Refreshes and in-contract growth opportunities by introducing new Kyocera Software Solutions.
  5. Appraises and evaluates the results of subsidiary performance using the Cooperative Contracts and reports these results to Executive Management.
  6. Contributes to the analysis and negotiations of future contract negotiations on both the Federal and Cooperative Contract Space.
  7. Develops and manages budgets and staff development required to operate and enhance the Strategic Account Division.
  8. Provides product forecasting to ensure product availability to support subsidiary sales in the Cooperative and GSA Contracts.
  9. Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed by the Vice President of Direct Sales.
  10. In a sales leadership role with us, you will be building relationships with potential new customers and maintaining current clients (nationwide), which requires you to be out in the field at least 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. BA or BS degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales Management with a major U.S. Corporation. Preferably in the Document Solutions Vertical.
  2. Experience in managing and developing department budgets.
  3. Background in technical analysis, product development, and marketing.
  4. Ability and experience in corporate communications and public presentation.
  5. Ability to travel nationwide 50% of the time.
  6. Physical requirements: standing, sitting, and working with a computer, bending/filing, and light lifting.
