Carol Fox & Associates, a 30+ person Chicago-based marketing and public relations agency specializing in arts, entertainment and hospitality clientele, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager. The company’s environment is dynamic, with a client roster that boasts many of the city’s best-known attractions and cultural institutions.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of paid experience strategizing, planning, and managing small- and large-scale digital campaigns including paid media campaigns on Meta and Google platforms. Applicant must be a self-starter, problem solver and team player with a high degree of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be technically proficient and able to multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and running all digital advertising campaigns. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and be an integral member of client-facing teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all facets of a paid digital media campaign, including planning, content development, audience targeting/re-targeting, campaign execution, and budget management.
  • Understand key inputs into channel performance in order to proactively identify trends and areas of opportunity.
  • Write creative briefs and define objectives/KPIs for creative teams to produce compelling messaging and creative assets that align with each paid media channel.
  • Have a solid understanding of performance marketing and all performance marketing metrics (CPM, CVR, CPA) to successfully assess performance, optimize, and measure against organizational goals.
  • Own the analysis and reporting of the multi-channel campaign execution with actionable insights and socialize findings to internal and external team members.
  • Launch and evaluate testing strategies.
  • Oversee pixel generation, placement and ROI tracking on applicable campaigns.
  • Autonomously manage budget allocation with strategic direction.
  • Work in tandem with other Digital Marketing and Creative team members to ensure all digital marketing programs are aligned.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, new technology, and best practices to constantly evolve our social strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of paid experience dedicated to managing paid media/social media campaigns at scale.
  • Experience planning and rolling out small and large-scale marketing campaigns and the ability to identify and drive improvements using a data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to partner with creative teams on content development.
  • Must demonstrate portfolio of experience.
  • A deep understanding of acquisition funnel and performance marketing KPI's.
  • Expertise in multiple ad platforms including TikTok, Snap, Google Ads, and Meta is a must.
  • Must be proficient in Google Analytics.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and efficient problem solver.

This is a full-time, hybrid in-office/remote, salaried position. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
