Sonnys Cocktail Joint on South Street is gearing up to re-open and looking for a detail oriented, energetic industry professional that is motivated in advancing their career in hospitality!
The schedule for this position would be a 5 day work week, mostly evenings. This is the perfect position for someone who is looking to transition from a bar or beverage manager position to a general manager, in charge of all daily operations. Advancement and upward mobility is an opportunity as we promote from within and are a continuously growing restaurant group.
To manage within our group you must be a strong leader and someone who can motivate, hire and train staff. Our ideal candidate must be able to collaborate and work closely with the owners, chef, and directors, and will be involved in all aspects of daily service, carry out the standards we have for excellent guest service, and ensure consistency with food and beverage offerings. Administrative skills are required and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and a sense of urgency are paramount.
Essentials
-1-3 years management experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft office; extremely proficient in excel
-Enforce our core value and standards every shift
-Uphold cleanliness standards
-In house daily accounting, cash handling, bank runs
-Carry out training of FOH employees to ensure the development of their customer service skills, company philosophy, menu knowledge & point of sale knowledge
-Serve Safe & Ramp Certified
-Record keeping and administrative requirements, including financial records, and employee files and correspondence
-Carry a level of emotional intelligence and engage guests warmly
-Maintain a professional relationship with all staff
-Position is full-time and requires regular, consistent attendance
