Account Payable
Diamond Mowers is looking for someone to join our Accounting Team. This position will report directly to the Controller. We are looking for someone who has experience in reconciliations and payment of vendors and suppliers and solving discrepancies. This individual would also like to work with numbers and working with vendors and internal/external vendors/suppliers on payments for goods and services.
Key Roles

• Enter and apply invoices into Infor CSI with proper accounting coding.
• Prompt payment of invoices to take advantage of early pay discounts and net 30 terms.
• Research and solve discrepancies and adjust accounts as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements with payments and credits.
• Reconcile credit card statements every month.
• Manage the proper backup and approvals for payments
• Print and mail/email weekly checks and EFT payments.
• Complete month-end close process as it relates to accounts payable.
• Process expense reimbursements.
• Cross train to other accounting functions such as accounts receivables.

Responsibilities

• Processing vendor invoices and paying vendors timely while ensuring compliance with approval levels.
• Manage the Sales Tax process, reconciliation and prompt payment.
• Manage the 1099 process.
• Timely month-end processes completed with attention to detail.
• Maintain vendor/supplier accounts, including contact info, tax exempt forms, tax coding, and payment terms.
• Recognize and report critical discrepancies and variances in all accounting facets to the Controller/CFO.
• Effectively utilize the Infor CSI system by fully understanding and using all modules to assist with all aspects of business transactions.
• Telephones are answered courteously and promptly.
• Customers are greeted in a friendly manner and directed to the appropriate personnel.
• In-house requests are handled courteously and promptly.
• Cross-train in other areas of the accounting department, such as accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three plus years accounts payable experience.
• 1-2 years accounting experience (manufacturing/high volume invoices and/or general ledger experience preferred)

• Experience in Infor CSI a plus.

Location: 60th St
Hours: 8:00-5:00
Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
