Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgmentMay supervise the work of othersDemonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projectsPrepares and delivers presentationsAnticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutionsInterprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or servicesCollaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needsChampions processes, procedures and safety standardsMonitors and controls costs and resources associated with projectsOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industryPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE CertificationAdditional Responsibilities/ExpectationsLeads engineering design, scope refinement, cost estimating, development of project design specifications, and supports construction for trench-less pipeline installations.Leads and oversees geotechnical investigations and provides engineering review of geotechnical findingsProvides technical support to all functional departments throughout the projectInterprets trench-less design reports and utilizes problem-solving to identify solutions to complex problemsOther Requirements:Experience with horizontal directional drilling and related installation methodsExperience with geotechnical investigations and application to trench-less pipeline installationsPreferred: Experience with GIS and CADDPreferred: PE licenseAbout PittsburghPittsburgh is a city full of adventure.
