Essential Functions:

  1. Estimate, including assisting with quantity take-offs, subcontractor list management and subcontractor contacts, research on various systems and products, studies and comparisons, document management, and keeping accurate records.
  2. Ensure that the estimating process runs smoothly and efficiently, and client expectations are exceeded throughout the duration of the project(s).
  3. Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for material and labor to establish a value for the work.
  4. Prepare qualifications and assumptions for the estimate.
  5. Prepare cost comparisons/reconcile with previous estimates.

Required Experience:

  1. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field required.
  2. Strong preference given for students studying Civil Engineering or a Construction related field.
  3. Demonstrated interest in construction management and the construction industry.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  5. Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Outstanding attention to detail.
  7. Time management skills, with the ability to handle various responsibilities while meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or 0-2 years equivalent relevant work experience.
