Pfizer Futures
If you’re a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate Freshman-Seniors, the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.
With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division’s goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.
The 2025 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 15, 2024, to December 15, 2024.

Responsibilities
Pfizer's Finance organization covers a wide range of fields and interacts with every part of the organization, from global tax to transfer pricing and tax planning, managing financial statements, creating accounting policies, or providing accounting support to various divisions, as well as working with commercial leaders to forecast product sales and overall business projections. Our Global Business Services team is a transformation powerhouse, turning fragmented, complex, and intricate operational services into a seamlessly centralized, simplified, and standardized system. Finance/GBS role responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Support the Corporate Treasury/Capital Market functions with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and other process improvements to expand your knowledge of Pfizer and the broader capital markets
- Assist Commercial Finance managers in preparation for the month and quarterly accounting close, financial forecasting, operating plans, and create monthly performance presentations
- Participate in Corporate Audit projects
- Support Operations Planning and Analysis teams to review periodic forecasts submitted by divisions, assist with maintenance of dashboards for senior management, and monitor wall street analyst expectations and reactions to Pfizer performance
- Support the Global Business Services team in identifying and implementing highly complex Pfizer Enterprise and transformational initiatives in partnership with various functional stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support to the Global Business Services, E&SI Supply Rish Management Team
- Support the PfizerWorks teams in developing digital solutions geared to enhance and streamline the customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.
- Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)
- Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
- Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester
- Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week. Please note, some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days
Preferred Qualifications
- Studying applicable degree (Business, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Management, Data Science)

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.
In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
