About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Allen & Petersen Cooking & Appliance Center in Anchorage, AK. As a premium gourmet store sales associate, you will have the opportunity to work with high-quality products and engage with customers who are passionate about cooking and entertaining.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the perfect gourmet appliances and cookware for their needs.
- Provide product demonstrations and answer any questions about our premium products.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Prior retail or sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of gourmet cooking and small kitchen electrics, tools and cookware is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
