Job Title: Controls EngineerJob DescriptionDirect hire Controls Engineering position. This location is responsible for fuel nozzle production for military aerospace equipment. The candidate must have a BSEE and proficiency in the troubleshooting and editing of PLCs, specifically Allen-Bradley 500 and 5000 series. They must have a general understanding of Ignition software and be able to work within FactoryTalk with HMIs. Experience in an automotive or aerospace background is preferred, with a strong comfort level and experience in a manufacturing environment. The environment is clean, bright, and organized but requires an understanding of safety protocols and shop floor requirements. Hours are from 7 or 8 AM to 2-3 PM with some flexibility based on personal preferences and family needs. No remote work is available; the candidate must be on-site at all times. The typical workweek is 40-45 hours, potentially up to 50 hours if dealing with urgent matters. Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on urgency. The current team consists of 2 controls engineers reporting to the manufacturing engineering manager.
