The Opportunity: Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? As our Retail Associate, you will help create the best USC experience for each guest that comes through our doors.

The Accountabilities:

1. Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers. Ensure full customer satisfaction while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
2. Assist customers in locating merchandise, answer questions, and perform gift wrapping or other special services.
3. Perform all cashiering functions in accordance with department policies.
4. Keep sales floor neat, clean, and fully stocked. Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed.
5. Assist with answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
6. Make tags for damaged merchandise and return misplaced merchandise to the correct department.
7. Comply with all university and department policies and procedures.
8. In the absence of the department manager, supervise student workers and assist in training new staff.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Qualifiers:

1. Minimum Education: High school or equivalent.
2. Minimum Experience: 6 - 12 months in retail sales.
3. Valid CA driver's license required.
4. Demonstrate a strong commitment to USC's Unifying Values.

The hourly rate range for this position is $18.86 - $22.82.
