JRAD is seeking Travel Specialist candidates for positions to support health technology development initiatives for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).

Position Overview

Responsible for preparing and coordinating travel for Program Managers (PMs) and Office leadership, ensuring all travel arrangements and associated documents comply with ARPA-H guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Coordination

  1. Prepare and coordinate travel arrangements for Government personnel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
  2. Ensure all travel plans comply with ARPA-H guidelines and regulations.

Travel Support

  1. Use the ARPA-H Travel System to prepare and manage all associated travel documents.
  2. Assist Government personnel with travel-related inquiries and issues, providing support before, during, and after travel.
  3. Maintain detailed records of all travel arrangements and expenses.

Documentation and Compliance

  1. Prepare travel documents such as travel authorizations, vouchers, and expense reports.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all travel documentation.
  3. Stay updated on travel policies and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Education:

Education

  1. Associate's degree in Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, or a related field.

Experience

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel coordination or a related role.

Skills

  1. Proficiency in using travel management systems, preferably the ARPA-H Travel System.
  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
