Sr. Manager Communications Strategy

The Role
As a Sr. Manager of Communications Strategy, you will be covering a parental leave supporting the organizations Brokerage and Digital Assets products area with a concentrated focus on the emerging investor segment. You are proficient in channel best practices, targeting strategies, creative insights, emerging technologies, consumer trends and relevant competitive activities to help deliver communication plans that drive effective, efficient, and resonant marketing experiences which speak directly to the interest, needs, and values of Fidelity's customers. Moreover, you will directly lead creative projects, serving as facilitator and advocate while guiding project execution from marketing strategy through to breakthrough creative deliverables. You are a key player on a cross-functional team, and your eye is always on customer experience, brand alignment, efficiency, quality, and business results.
The Team
The Comms Strategy team is a new team and practice being built within Fidelity’s larger marketing organization. The team blends elements of traditional account management with building strategic communications plans, by channel, to create more targeted, effective marketing efforts that deliver on business objectives and proven value- delivering the highest quality experiences for our customers and prospective customers.
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7+ years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or marketing communications
- Agency experience, especially with financial services clients, a plus
- Experience with agile principles a plus
Skills & Expertise
- Experience working with creative teams and fostering projects from strategy through concepting, production and delivery.
- Skilled at leading brand and creative activation and execution across platforms and a good eye for creative and brand alignment
- Resourceful, self-sufficient, effective problem solver and troubleshooter even in the face of ambiguity
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and personal accountability
- Solid project management skills, with consistent use of standardized processes with the ability to prioritize, lead and manage several initiatives at once.
- Ability to foster strong relationships, successfully manage conflict and build trust in every interaction
- A customer-centric/customer first mindset
- Appreciation for the power of data and an ability to interpret and apply it to drive better results
