Job OverviewThe Pricing Operations Specialist will support the Pricing Operations department in maintaining the pricing and fringe within SAP.Job ResponsibilitiesCompile and summarize all fringe and overage related information from the appropriate related external exchanges for updating or implementing in the ERP system.Assist in implementing systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency.Actively participate in determining appropriate list prices, standard discounts and rebates and managing any restructuring, updating, communication, and publication of price increases.Engage with cross-functional teams as needed to ensure system accuracy and functionality.Cross-train and support the Market Pricing Specialist with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as needed.Investigate pricing discrepancies.Provide assistance for major corporate projects and project teams through research and reporting.Additional user of CPQ pricing software.Ability to travel up to 10%.All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.All GLC employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 1 year Pricing experience. A High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years Pricing experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Excellent communicator.Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.Minimum of 2 years Pricing, Dairy Market, and/or Commodity Market experience.Minimum of 1 year SAP experience.Previous experience working in Accounting or Finance.Previous experience in the cheese/dairy industry.General understanding of manufacturing processes.Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.Ability to summarize meaningful information from large data sets.Working Conditions• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.• Work is performed in an office setting.EEOC & DisclaimerGreat Lakes Cheese is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
