**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room
**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Operating Room
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 2 years of Adult Cardiac, Pediatric Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery
**License:** Active compact or NC RN license
**Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association)
**Must-Have:** Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
**Job Description:**
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan.

**Physical Requirements:**
Work involves walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak and understand English. Requires intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity, critical thinking, and the ability to concentrate and respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions are essential.
