Description:
Our client is seeking an EMS Director of Operations to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the seamless daily functions of both EMS and Dispatch divisions, ensuring effective workflow and coordination.
- Ensure efficient ambulance deployment and resource allocation to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Support learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for direct reports.
- Foster a positive and professional relationship between the community and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of daily operational tasks, ensuring compliance and accountability.
- Identify and implement ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Must have prior experience working for emergency medical care services in an operations role, as well as in-depth knowledge of EMS organizational principles and staff management.
- Familiarity with data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills are required.
