Job Responsibilities:

Lead the operations of the Dental Quality Alliance. Collaborate with dental leaders, quality measure experts, standards organizations and health service researchers leveraging broad knowledge of evidence-based dentistry, policy and payment systems to achieve consensus within the Alliance and its wide range of participating member organizations. Foster positive relationships with all DQA stakeholders through effective communication. Guide and support the Association's policy development and advocacy efforts and educate the dental community about the work of the DQA.

Must Have:

  1. MS/MS in Public Health or Public Administration
  2. A minimum of 8 years of work experience in public health, program administration, evidence-based dentistry or quality measurement & improvement arena
  3. Experience in project planning and project management, writing reports, facilitating inter-divisional staff and/or volunteer groups and working across cross-functional teams
  4. Experience in the dental arena; and leading large stakeholder groups to achieve consensus
  5. Knowledge of dental delivery systems
  6. Excellent organizational, oral & written communications, planning and public speaking skills
  7. Knowledge and/or prior experience working on healthcare quality measurement and improvement, or accreditation or health services research
  8. Ability to independently initiate and complete projects
  9. Able to work independently and also in teams with multiple internal and external collaborators
  10. Attention to detail and reliable follow through are a must as part of project management
  11. Proficiency in MS Office 365
  12. Travel may be required for grant supported committee meetings and meetings/conference presentations on behalf of the DQA
