System Engineer & Administrator Level 3 - VMWARE
Location - Columbia, MD
Clearance - TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
You will act as a System Engineer and Administrator for a new system being developed to support certification management and training for mission critical work roles. You will design, build, operate, and maintain infrastructure for a platform to deliver interactive training scenarios. You will be working on a mixed skillset team consisting of administrators, developers, and subject matter experts in close collaboration with the mission customer.

REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Twelve (12) years of experience in Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree majoring in a technical discipline.
- Four (4) years' demonstrated experience in IT Systems Management may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience configuring and managing VMware backend infrastructure.
- Configuration and management of VMware products, to include: vCenter, vSan, NSX Data Center, Horizon, and VCF.
- Ability to support VLAN backend networks as well as software defined networks.
- Experience managing VMware Horizon View virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
- Ability to scan, identify, and remediate network vulnerabilities.
- Ability to administer Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience administering Windows Active Directory domains.
- Experience managing networking devices to include routers, switches, and firewalls.
