Randstad US Quality Team Lead - White House, Tennessee

Randstad is in search of an experienced and successful Quality Assurance professional. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Quality Department, following processes, and achieving highly satisfactory output. Supervisor or Lead experience is a plus! The position is a Direct Hire opportunity for a leading global flexible packaging company with comprehensive product offerings, providing creative packaging solutions, industry-leading customer service, and award-winning innovation to a diverse global marketplace. Salary: $48,672 - $59,072 per year

Shift: First

Work Hours: 7 AM - 7 PM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

1. Support Quality Management in ensuring the Quality Management System (ISO, SQF, BRC, GFSI) is being followed.
2. Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Management to ensure manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed.
3. Support and train quality personnel to perform their respective job functions.
4. Along with Management, direct the work of the Lab Technicians.
5. Participate in the establishment of quality specifications.
6. Support activities associated with external audits.
7. Support customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.
8. Monitor site quality metrics and work with management to develop countermeasures as needed.
9. Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process control methods.
10. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

1. Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus. High level of mathematical and analytical skills.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
3. Solid working knowledge of quality processes, related manufacturing, and demonstrated leadership skills.
4. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
5. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Essential Functions

1. Working in a smoke-free environment.
2. Working in a non-temperature controlled environment.
3. Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
4. Standing for 12 hours at one time.
5. Working up to 8 hours of overtime per week.
