Job Description

Job Title: Devops Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA / Newark, DE

Job Type: Permanent Full Time

Description:

1. 5+ years of strong experience with Middleware including Web sphere, Unix, JBOSS, Apache, IBM HTTP
2. Experience with build and deploy support in a large, corporate environment – preferably within financial industry
3. Team player that likes to work closely with Support, Development, and Engineering groups
4. Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
5. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical groups
6. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
7. Daily execution of build ops in an automated and continuous process
8. Pre-prod and production environments
9. Hands-on design, build, deployment and support of code
10. Compiling code to move into test environments via automated processes
11. Managing continuous build, test and deploy processes
12. Version control support-branching/merging code, dependency management
13. Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution
14. Improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment
15. Communicate status frequently to product teams and engineering program managers
16. Document any new process or update an existing wiki page
