Travel Nurse RN - PCU in Roanoke, VA

**Must-Have:**
- Willingness to float as needed within acuity
- Must work at least one holiday per season (two winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine: Required, with exceptions for medical/religious reasons
- Compliance documents due Wednesday prior to start
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 24-bed Telemetry PCU, specializing in the care of hospitalist medicine patients focusing on renal and various other medical diagnoses
- Serve as an alternative unit for patients in GI, Pulmonary, and other surgical/procedural areas covered by Hospitalists
- Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a goal to improve to 1:4
- Complete orientation modules and/or Epic Fast Track modules as required
- Willingness to comply with floating requirements across units based on acuity
Note: Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler. Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted unless specified differently for certain roles. Orientation includes 24 hours of non-billable time, with modules contributing to this time included automatically in the timesheet.
