Job Requirements / Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fort Worth South Hotel & Conference Center as our Hotel Controller. The ideal candidate will have Hilton brand experience. The Controller will prepare monthly financial statements, variance reports, G/L reconciliations, bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis, and other reports as determined by the General Manager. Will assist in attaining financial goals. Responsibilities: • Oversees the hotel's accounting department, including budgets, cash flow, and audits • Produces regular financial reports for the hotel's ownership group • Forecasting • Implementing and monitoring controls and procedures • Preparing accurate and timely reports and analysis • Maintaining control over information posted to the general ledger and reconciling account balances • Providing daily cash and change requirements for the hotel • Issuing banks to hotel cashiers and maintaining an inventory of all cashier banks • Leadership of the accounting team • Subject matter expert informing department managers regarding budgets and P& Qualifications: • Hotel and hospitality accounting experience is required • Strong oral and written communication
