The Amazon Business team is seeking Software Development Engineers who want to disrupt the way businesses purchase online.

The AB Services team was established in Q2'22 as a key enabler of turnkey solutions that reduce their costs, improve their operational efficiency, and free up their bandwidth to focus on their core business. Services are most critical to enabling AB customer deals.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to the back-end services. You will be working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solutions that provide good customer experience.

Candidates need to have ownership, passion to provide great customer experience, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with building web-based applications and/or web services-based applications is desired.

Key job responsibilities

  • Usage of design patterns, re-use and efficient coding best practices to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
  • Partner with offshore development team(s) for successful software delivery.
  • Design and develop end-to-end solutions that enhance software architecture and automate solutions.
  • Leverage cutting-edge tech to implement solutions.
  • Build reliable, high-performance Web Services, APIs, Micro-Services, Micro-Frontends, and SDKs that improve customers' experience.
  • Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  • Experience in automation testing.
  • Experience in manual testing.
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
  • Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
