POSITION SUMMARYTo be fully engaged in Health First’s commitments to delivering quality care and customer experience by; engaging the children in activities that are both physical and educational. By providing and friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere of growth and development.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESMonitor children at all times; including but not limited to, checking children as they enter the facility for illnesses to protect all children in the facility, monitoring children during Kid-Fit programs as well as in the play areas, and checking children in and out to assure that all children are leaving with the proper parent or guardian.Assure that Kid-Fit maintains the proper child to teacher ratio.Provide feedback to parents of child’s progress and behavior and interacts with parents to provide a better experience for the child.Implement age-appropriate activities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, ensuring a fun and enjoyable environment and monitor all programs.Assure children have modern and up to date equipment and toys to play with.Maintain Kid-Fit equipment and toys to make sure that all are safe and in proper working order, which also involves, maintaining, cleaning, and sanitizing all equipment and toys on a regular scheduled basis.Follow and maintain proper station assignments.Follow proper communication chain of command, especially when supervisor is not on premises to avoid necessary information from being lost or unreported.Complete incident reports on time and turn such reports (un-copied) to the supervisor in charge.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Licensure: None RequiredCertification: o Current American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR & AED Program Card prior to start date. o Successful completion of all post-hire requirements, including, if applicable for role, Level II background screening/fingerprinting.Skills, Knowledge, Ability: o Maintain positive attitude with staff and members. o Organized. o Communication – oral, written and auditory. o Problem solve as needed. o Respond promptly to a variety of situations, planned or unexpected.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCertification: 40 Hour HR Certificate.Work Experience: 3 years’ experience in childcare or teaching.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStand for a long period of time; bend, stoop and get down on the floor to interact with the children.Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Work in a loud environment; noise level may vary at times.In good physical condition and able to move quickly when needed.Job: *Kid Fit TechnicianOrganization: *Holmes Regional Medical CenterTitle: Kid Fit Tech - ProHealthLocation: Florida - Brevard County-VieraRequisition ID: 075478
