The Marketing Consultant will be responsible for driving the “voice of the customer” into our client’s marketing efforts, focusing on retention strategies for existing employers/members and attraction of new member groups. The role requires the execution of marketing plans, sales enablement, digital coordination, and strategic market research. This position supports the Health Plan & Medical Groups by monitoring performance, providing customer insights, and guiding leadership decisions through data-driven analysis.

Top Three Responsibilities:

  1. Execute Marketing Plans: Develop end-to-end project plans, produce core sales enablement materials, and coordinate digital marketing efforts.
  2. Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  3. Deliver with Excellence: Execute projects to a high standard, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate on diverse, complex assignments with significant scope, involving cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  2. Provide insights into customer needs and market trends, shaping strategies for product development, branding, and service performance.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales and marketing initiatives, providing data-driven support for senior leadership’s strategic and tactical decisions.
  4. Conduct market research, estimate project scope and costs, and manage ongoing and ad-hoc research projects.
  5. Lead efforts to improve departmental functions, services, and internal communications.
  6. Coordinate training seminars and interregional meetings to enhance the team’s market research capabilities.
  7. Seek ways to leverage knowledge and research across the organization for greater impact.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research, or a related field.
    • Preferred: Master’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business, or Social Sciences with training in qualitative and quantitative analysis. Doctorate preferred.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, market research, or related fields.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and oversee large-scale initiatives.
    • Expertise in market research methodologies and application to solving business problems.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop new research techniques and contribute to evolving work standards.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
