As a Water Resources Engineer work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities.Each day, you will be an important team member as you assist with projects for our clients. Graduate degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering is preferred.E.I.T. with the intention of obtaining California PE in future.Knowledge of mathematical optimization, linear programming, hydraulic, and/or hydrodynamic models (examples include CalSim II, CalSim 3, , etc.).Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel) and programming languages, including VBA, Python, and/or R.Knowledge of California hydrology and water resources is preferred.Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
