An independent, non-profit healthcare provider in Naples, FL is looking for an RN Women & Children Health Safety & Quality Coordinator for its Safety & High Reliability department.
The successful candidate will lead performance improvement activities for Women & Child Health services with emphasis on clinical guidelines and outcomes management. The candidate must have at least a BSN from an accredited nursing program, preferably with Labor and Delivery experience, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. The candidate must also have at least 3 years of nursing experience and BLS certification. Quality data analysis, performance improvement, and experience with electronic medical records are preferred. Certification in healthcare quality within 2 years of hire is a plus. Must have strong computer skills and ability to use judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential information.
- Coordinate education and development of WCH team
- Manage projects focused on achieving clinical performance improvement, goals and objectives
- Act as a liaison to various hospital and medical staff committees
- Analyze, summarize and provide performance reports on relevant quality metrics
- Facilitate solutions to quality issues from data analysis
