Who You Are:
This position requires a highly motivated individual who is looking to expand their knowledge. This role will play an integral to supporting the production teams to ensure glass is getting to the customers in an expedited manner and investigating missing glass while monitoring critical orders as they move through production.
What You Will Be Doing:

• Following up on MDR (Missed Delivery Report)
• Working with teams to identify location / problem with past due glass on schedules and expedite recovery
• Monitoring critical orders through the process, ensuring completion
• Investigating missing glass, tracking down and identifying root causes
• Being a liaison between the office and production when expedited or production related questions needs answered
• Work closely with the Production Manager and be an advisor to identify areas where processes can be improved to improve OTD (On Time Delivery) , reduce remake
• Other duties as assigned

Skills You Bring:

• Must be able lift 75lbs
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled plant
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Basic computer and e-mail skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Detailed oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of the processes and the flow of the glass through production
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and come up with a valid resolution.
