Department: Sales, Business Development & Strategy Location: Philippines Department: Sales, Business Development & Strategy Location: Philippines Job Description Team and Role IntroductionThe Brand Acquisition Lead is in charge of hunting high potential Brand businesses in the Philippines and making sure that these businesses have sustainable growth on the Lazada platform. This involves lead generation, onboarding, and incubation for the first 3 months. The role represents the platform in several partnership and speaking engagements so a high communication and public speaking skill set is expected. It also requires strong people and project management skills to cater to the team’s numerous projects.Reporting:The role will report to the Head of Business DevelopmentKey Tasks & Responsibilities - Have autonomy to improve processes within the function - - Will lead a sizeable team consisting in house and outsourced talents - Role will regularly accept new initiatives and will be expected to drive these in operation and later on reporting on progress to management and other stakeholders - Regular reporting on key metrics of function using dashboards - Setting of KPIs for team and driving those KPIs to success - Will be asked to speak representing Lazada to top management of different firms, audiences - Will be asked to forge partnerships with outside groups - Build relationship and growing top sellers and setting up rules to incentivize and reward the growth of long-tail sellers - Educating sellers on Lazada features, throughout the process of grooming and preparing new sellers to Lazada tools, campaigns, and mechanics - Building good relationships and trust with merchants to understand more about their business and their key success factors - Interact with stakeholders of different teams (example category management, search) to ensure products sold by new sellers receive enough visibility on the product pages - Implement campaigns for new sellers, analyze and report their performance - Interact with other local teams to share knowledge and replicate best practices - Forecast volume and number of new sellers and activities required to incubate them Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications & Skills - Strong Project Management Skills where individual has managed internal and external stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritize and deliver on multiple projects - At least 3 years in a people management role- Strategic thinking and ability to translate into action - Analytics skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data-driven - Strong interest in driving business improvements through analysis and data-driven decision making- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino - Capability to present in front of audiences of different profiles - Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills - Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders and presenting both over the phone and in person - Good team player, with an aptitude for sales and the ambition to constantly outperform KPIsRequirements/Qualifications(good to have): - Experience in an ecommerce industry is a plus
