Job Responsibilities :
- Deliver interpretation service to patients in medical settings.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures as defined by the company standards.
- Demonstrate professional conduct, including reliability, punctuality, and preparedness for assigned shifts.
- Engage respectfully and collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in our quality assurance and monitoring programs.
Requirements :
- Medical Interpretation Training Certificate
- Fluency and excellent verbal communication skills in both the source and target language. Source language is English
- 1-5 years of professional experience in medical interpreting.
- Deep respect and understanding of cultural nuances, legal and medical terminology relevant to our LEP clients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the code of ethics and standards of practice
- Familiarity with medical privacy laws (HIPAA) and applicable federal and state regulations.
