SUMMARY
Part-Time, Seasonal Position, October - February, weekend shifts required. Located in the Group Sales office, the Ski Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for effectively building relationships with new and existing ski and school groups. Daily tasks include full customer relationship management from reservations, billing and all guest and process transactions. This position will also assist the Ski Guest Services Office from time to time with their process and guest transactions.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Consults with guest groups with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and resolving their needs.
  • Fields and manages in-person and on-phone interactions following proper protocol.
  • Creates invoices, prints ticket orders and follows through on bills for all bookings/reservations.
  • Communicates with guest groups via face-2-face, email and/or phone, answering their resort-related questions.
  • Stays current on resort events and changing departmental schedules to effectively communicate information to our guests and associates.
  • Adheres to Wintergreen policies when processing or issuing Wintergreen Resort's ski group sales and products.
  • Addresses Special Group Program queries and sales.
  • Ensures all communications are responded to correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Works with other office associates to ensure all aspects of ski group reservations are running smoothly.
  • Ensures cash drawer is balanced and financial transactions are accurate.
  • Assists the Ski Guest Services Office from time to time with season pass sales and processing, processing of mail out orders, assisting other department with ticketing needs, assistance with online purchasing, and Ski Guest Service emails and phone calls.
  • Represents Wintergreen Resort in a positive, friendly and professional manner.
  • Adheres to department uniform and grooming standards.
  • Reports to work on-time for all scheduled shifts
  • Follows all written rules required in the Wintergreen Employee Handbook and individual departments.
  • Takes on additional duties and tasks as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Provide superior guest service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationship experience.
  • Offer effective solutions for guest issues based on own discretion.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office / Technical computer savviness.
  • Prior knowledge of or experience with Siriusware preferred.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior work experience in an office setting preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of or experience in ski or resort industries is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Generally, positioned in office environment. This position involves sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and the constant use of computers and telephones. This position requires the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical functions.
