Job Summary
We are seeking a Behavioral Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! As part of our behavioral team, you will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The Behavioral Technician will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and assist the Behavior Analyst with clinical assessments as needed. Training is available--and position starts at part-time with opportunity to grow to full-time status. Responsibilities
Provide direct client care in individual and group settings in therapeutic preschool setting.
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Assist Behavior Analysts with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
Assist Behavior Analysts in preparing client materials as instructed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Collaborate with the treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, and co-workers.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
Adhere to all HIPAA, facility, and licensing standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Experience working with children
Previous experience as a behavioral health therapist, preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified, preferred
