Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Executive Director – Revenue Cycle with experience in managing a remote team.

As an Executive Director – Revenue Cycle, provide leadership and direction to a team of system-wide revenue cycle leaders to ensure Avera’s strategic revenue cycle vision and operational goals are met.

Job Summary:

The Executive Director – Revenue Cycle leads a team of revenue cycle directors/managers and serves as their primary liaison to Avera’s revenue cycle executive leadership. The Executive Director strategically leverages the organization's distinct capabilities, identifies and communicates emerging industry trends, and leads the execution of broader revenue cycle changes across the system. This individual will assume responsibility for achieving key performance metrics and meeting operating standards set by revenue cycle and executive leadership.

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of six (6) years of revenue cycle experience required.
  3. Experience and familiarity with managing a remote, decentralized team.
  4. Experience with Epic preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license, and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.
