Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking to hire a junior associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in our client's dynamic Miami office. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience with general commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida.


Responsibilities:

  1. Independently conduct research.
  2. Draft substantive pleadings and motions.
  3. Organize, conduct, and manage the discovery practice, including e-discovery.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. J.D. from an accredited law school.
  2. Admitted and in good standing as a member of the Florida Bar.
  3. Clerkship or journal experience preferred but not required.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and exceptional research and writing abilities. We desire candidates with a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.


Base Compensation: $215,000 - $250,000 / year
