Responsibilities
- Greet patients, making them feel comfortable during the appointment.
- Assist the doctor with all aspects of four-handed dentistry, including taking x-rays, taking impressions, Itero scanning, and other various clinical roles.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and answer patients' post-op questions.
- Prepare/Plan ahead, ensuring that the Dentist’s day runs smoothly.
- Track lab cases to ensure they are received in a timely manner.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct work in compliance with Infection Control, safety, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Active BLS/CPR certification is required.
- Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired.
- Need state licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant.
Compensation
$20 - $30 hourly
