Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Lakewood, Colorado office. This role offers the chance to work on structural design projects both nationally and internationally across diverse markets such as healthcare, commercial, office, sports, entertainment, and education. As an experienced Structural Engineer at Martin/Martin, you will:
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering and technician staff to successfully complete projects.
- Coordination: Oversee structural design scope, coordinating in-house and with other consultants.
- Planning and Budgeting: Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff, assisting with their career development.
- Representation: Attend project meetings and represent Martin/Martin during design and construction.
- Relationship Building: Take an active role in developing and maintaining client relationships.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
- 9 years progressive engineering experience (MSCE/MSAE counts as 1 year. Passing the 16-hour SE exam also counts as 1 year)
- Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's future
- Has designed numerous projects and followed them through from start of design to end of construction
- Demonstrates effective internal and external communication skills
- Demonstrates advanced project management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines
