The Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics - Inventory Transformation is a critical thought-leadership role on the Merchandising Transformation team. In this role, you sit at the intersection of customer expectations, business process, supply chain constraints, and product development. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to deliver advanced analytics solutions that will shape the development of our inventory systems & products for years to come. You will interact heavily with business stakeholders and leverage your analytical prowess to drive product capability requirements and deliver business objectives. Your work in these areas will re-shape the way in which we deploy resources to enable an end-to-end supply chain capable of supporting availability however customers choose to interact with Walmart.

  • You have academic and/or professional experience in fields of Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Setting strategic direction on corporate initiatives related to forecasting and inventory capabilities and evolves business processes to leverage automation.
  • Driving visibility to business performance by defining KPIs, and how they will be measured and monitored for broad utilization across stakeholders.
  • Providing data-driven insights and analysis to influence the development and deployment of tech capabilities.
  • Becoming an invaluable strategic partner by collaborating to unify business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and scale best practice & governance across the organization.
  • Communicating effectively to build stakeholder engagement, prepare the organization for change management, and influence large groups of cross-functional partners.
  • Performing business &/or statistical analysis to understand drivers of performance, predict outcomes, and influence business strategy.
  • Preparing documentation (e.g., Word, Power Point) to communicate recommendations based on research and data analysis. Supporting the implementation of process, systems, and tool solutions.
  • Successfully navigating in ambiguous environments, with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, in pursuit of end-to-end business process improvement.
  • Promoting and supporting company mission, values, & standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance; and utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00


Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years' experience in product management or related area.


Preferred Qualifications...

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
