A leading national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Technology/Data Transactions Attorney to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy attorney with at least 3 years of experience at a top law firm to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking practice that handles complex commercial technology and data transactions across a wide array of industries.
In this role, the associate will draft and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including software development and licensing, cloud computing, and master services agreements, among others. The work will span industries such as financial technology, healthcare, retail/e-commerce, transportation, energy, hospitality, education, and real estate. In addition to transactional work, the associate will also provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other multidisciplinary corporate transactions.
We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience gained in law firms or in-house environments, specifically in drafting and negotiating complex technology, intellectual property, and data-related contracts. Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity provisions in contracts, as well as privacy laws such as CCPA and GDPR, is important.
