Description of the role:
The Car Wash Associate at Acura of Avon is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are washed, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly wash and clean vehicles, including exteriors and interiors
- Vacuum, shampoo, and dry carpets and upholstery
- Polish chrome and other surfaces
- Apply wax to vehicles to protect the paint
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or defects
- Report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- Prior experience in car washing or detailing preferred
- Ability to operate automatic car wash equipment
- Knowledge of different cleaning agents and their uses
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license

Positions may include but are not limited to loading, prepping, vacuuming, drying, cleaning windows, and additional finishing detailing services. Must be observant and able to spot potential problem vehicles. Involves use of electronic equipment. Use such materials as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses.
