About the Job
Anthro Energy is seeking a seasoned R&D Facilities Manager to oversee our current and future facilities, from lab safety/upkeep to overall site uptime management. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing R&D and/or pilot manufacturing facilities, be a strong and organized communicator, and drive projects forward effectively.
What you will do
Coordinate the design and build of new facility by facilitating discussions between internal stakeholders and external vendors (i.e. architects, general contractors, etc.)
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of all facility equipment, including infrastructural support such as HVAC, MEP, and IT, as well as test/process equipment such as cyclers, characterization equipment, environmental chambers.
Maintain a safe working environment by establishing and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a laboratory or research environment in battery or similar technology field
Demonstrated ability to manage complex facility operations and maintenance.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Excellent problem-solving, project-planning, and organization abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
