Job Requirements / Description
Work from schedules and instructions to fill tooling with correct mix or mixes using specialized funnels, levelling devices and integrators, vibrate tooling to settle mix, cap and band the mold.
Inspect bags, PURs, IPs and centering devices to make sure they are on center, seated properly and within specifications; also must watch for defects and rejects.
Use production print to fill pieces to the proper specifications; measuring sleeve levels and seat levels with tape measure.
Reassemble tooling as required by reattaching head and ears to IP mandrel. Put on closure, tighten band around top of bag to seal tooling. Move filled tooling to allow press car to pick up and to press.
Follow safety rules and keep work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition
Follow Quality Assurance Standards, strictly adhering to all procedures
Qualifications:
Educational level to be a High School graduate of GED equivalent. Must be able to read and understand process/work instructions. Must be able to accurately process written or computer based production records. Must have basic knowledge of math (add,subtract,multiply,divide, decimals, fractions) and pass Math Test- Level 1.
Knowledge:
Basic math and reading skills
Skills & Behaviour:
Must have strong attention to detail. Ability to perform repetitive lifting tasks. Must be able to use both written and oral communication well with others, work with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks, treat other co-workers with respect and accept instructions when needed. Must be able to maintain safety and housekeeping standards and meet attendance requirements.
Problem Solving & Complexity:
Minimal need for skill in this area. Majority of problems or issues employee experiences is referred to Quality Control, Lead person and/or Production Supervisor.
Competencies:
Employee is skilled in customer focus understanding how his or her actions impact meeting customer needs. Is skilled in technical learning by being able to pick up on new technical things quickly to respond to customer’s demands.
